1. Introduction

Welcome to SaveTok ("we", "our", "us"). Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by SaveTok and how we use it.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

SaveTok operates as a transient media downloader utility. We prioritize your digital anonymity:

  • We do not store any user videos, audio, or extracted media files on our servers. All media data is processed in transient RAM memory and streamed directly to the end-user.
  • We do not require you to create an account, register, or provide any Personal Identifying Information (PII) to use our core downloader services.

3. Log Files and Usage Analytics

SaveTok follows a standard procedure of using log files for site performance and operational maintenance. These logs include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamps, and referring/exit pages. These are not linked to any personally identifiable information. The purpose is for analyzing trends, combating spam, and server security maintenance.

4. Cookies and Web Beacons

SaveTok uses first-party and necessary cookies strictly to enable site functionality (such as preserving your platform selection and interface preferences). These cookies do not collect personal information for advertising purposes unless you have explicitly opted in via our Cookie Consent Manager interface.

5. Google AdSense & DoubleClick DART Cookie (Third-Party Advertising)

SaveTok may display advertisements supplied by Google, Inc. ("Google") through the Google AdSense program, as well as partner ad exchanges and ad networks listed in our authorized sellers file (ads.txt).

Google may use the DoubleClick DART Cookie when serving advertisements on SaveTok. The DART cookie enables Google and its certified demand partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to SaveTok and/or other sites you have visited on the Internet.

Additionally, under Google Consent Mode v2 (gcm-v2), we default to a "Denied" state for ad personalization, ad user data, and analytics storage for all users subject to the GDPR, ePrivacy, CCPA/CPRA, and similar regional privacy regulations. Consent is only granted after you take an affirmative opt-in action through our banner.

Note: SaveTok has no access to or control over DART cookies, third-party vendor pixels, or Web Beacons used by third-party advertisers once they are initiated by their respective ad scripts.

6. Third-Party Privacy Policies

This Privacy Policy applies only to SaveTok and our owned first-party data. Other ad servers, advertising networks, social plugins, and embedded third parties (such as the Google Translate service) operate under their own privacy policies. We recommend you consult the respective privacy policy of each third-party ad server for more detailed information on their practices, instructions on how to opt-out of certain practices, or how to exercise your data subject rights directly with the controller.

7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a resident of California, you have the right under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), as amended by the CPRA, to:

  • Request access to and details about the personal information we collect, use, or disclose about you in the preceding 12 months;
  • Request the deletion of any personal information we have collected about you (subject to statutory exemptions);
  • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes, as those terms are defined under the CPRA. You may exercise this right at any time via the CCPA Opt-Out link available in our Cookie Consent Manager banner, or by writing to us directly.
  • Non-discrimination for exercising any of your CCPA rights.

SaveTok's advertising partners, including Google AdSense, may engage in activities that could be characterized as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (e.g. device identifiers, pseudonymous browsing events) under the CPRA definition. By default, we signal a global opt-out preference to our ad partners via the Google Consent Mode v2 API whenever you reject Marketing/Ads cookies or use the CCPA Opt-Out action.

8. GDPR & UK GDPR Data Subject Rights

We fully support your consumer data rights under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the EU "GDPR") and the UK GDPR. Under these regulations you have the right to: access, correct, erase, restrict, object to processing of, and obtain portability of your personal data; and, where applicable, withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal. Since our core downloader service does not require registration and we do not intentionally harvest personal information, very little (or no) tracking or user profiling data exists within our systems to be queried or deleted.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a Supervisory Authority if you believe our processing activities do not comply with applicable law.

9. Children's Online Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

SaveTok does not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from children under the age of 13. The SaveTok website, downloader tools, and advertising inventory are not directed at children under 13. If you are a parent or legal guardian and you believe your child has provided us with personally identifiable information, please contact us immediately via our Contact Page so that we can take steps to remove such information from our records and disable any related account access.

Additionally, our ad serving is configured with Google's "restricted-data-processing" mode and suitable COPPA signals to help prevent interest-based advertising and remarketing from being served to users our partners identify as underage.

10. International Data Transfers

SaveTok's servers, and the servers of our advertising and cloud technology partners, may process data in jurisdictions outside your country of residence (including, potentially, the United States). Where such transfers occur from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, transfers are conducted pursuant to recognized adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as adopted by the European Commission, or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

11. Data Retention Periods

Downloaded media files: 0 hours — streamed directly through transient RAM only, never written to persistent storage.
Server access logs / rate limiting logs: Automatically purged on a rolling 24-hour schedule.
Contact form submissions: Retained for a maximum of 12 months to enable response handling and quality assurance, then securely deleted.
Cookie consent preferences: Stored locally on your device only, for a maximum of 180 days.

12. Consent

By accessing, browsing, or using any feature of the SaveTok website, you hereby consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy and agree to its terms together with our Terms of Service. Where we rely on consent as the lawful basis for processing, you may withdraw or modify that consent at any time by using the Cookie Consent Manager interface.

13. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time, without prior notice, to reflect regulatory changes, new product features, or changes to our data practices. The "Last updated" date displayed at the top of this page indicates the policy's most recent effective date. Continued use of SaveTok after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
