1. Intellectual Property Commitment
SaveTok respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), the text of which may be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website, SaveTok will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using our web service.
2. Transient Processing Notice
Important Statement Regarding Data Hosting: SaveTok does not host, store, or archive any media files, videos, or audio files on its servers.
Our utility functions strictly as a real-time transient pipeline (proxy bridge). We accept a public URL provided directly by the user, query the public stream endpoints, and deliver that stream transparently to the userβs web browser for immediate download. Once the delivery is complete, no trace of the media exists within our network architecture. Therefore, we have no technical capacity to "remove" content from the internet as it exists solely on the origin platform (such as TikTok, Facebook, or Instagram).
3. Origin Takedowns
If you are a copyright owner and wish to restrict the downloading or availability of your content, you must submit your takedown notice directly to the source host platform where the video is hosted. Removing the video from the source host (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook) will automatically render it instantly unavailable for processing on SaveTok.
4. DMCA Inquiries & Block Requests
While we do not host media, we are committed to aiding copyright holders. If you are a copyright owner or authorized agent thereof, and you believe that any link-resolving behavior on our system facilitates copyright infringement, you may request an administrative block of specific resource URLs on our application layer by contacting us.
Please provide the following details in your request via our Contact Page:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- The exact URLs (links) on the source platform you wish to block.
- Your name, organization, email address, and a physical or electronic signature.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner.
5. Contacting the Agent
Please direct all copyright administrative communications directly through our secure web form available on our Contact Page. Responses are typically issued within 72 business hours.
